Coming to no surprise to anyone who watched Sunday's game, Jeff Hughley was named the JLS Ironman of the Week for his record setting performance against the New Orleans VooDoo.
Hughley set the Soul's single-game record for for all-purpose yards (360) and and kickoff return yards (265) along with tying the record for most kickoff returns in a game (10). Included in all those all-purpose yards is 92 receiving yards on 4 receptions and 2 touchdowns. Hughley also returned one of his 10 kickoffs for 54 yards and the touchdown. He's one of the most explosive players in the league and the Soul are very fortunate to have signed him away from the Jacksonville Sharks.
Hughley looks to take his talents against the Pittsburgh Power this Friday on the NFL Network. We'll see how brightly he shines under the national spotlight for the Soul's first of only two NFL Network match-ups this season.
