The Philadelphia Soul team up with Comcast

The Philadelphia Soul have announced a broadcasting partnership with the Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet to locally televise 9 games for the upcoming 2012 season. Along with the two games to be televised on the NFL Network, fans can now watch 11 of the Soul's 18 games from the comfort of their television sets instead of relying on Ustream every week.

Courtesy of the Philadelphia Soul's main website, here's the rundown of all the games that will be televised:

CAPS are home games; *All times listed are Eastern Time
That's a total of 5 home games and 6 away games and within these 11 are some very good football games to be played. You'll have to shell some money or use Ustream to see the Soul's home opener on April 1st against the Cleveland Gladiators, but the Soul's season opener will be TV ready for all.
Five of the Soul's six match-ups with Florida based teams are on the TV viewing list and with the amount of history that the state of Florida has with the AFL, it instantly makes those games "Must See TV."
The only division rival to make the list, the Pittsburgh Power, is probably the main rivalry Philadelphia cares about promoting at the time. The battle for arena football bragging rights in the Keystone State will provide some very electric atmospheres. Finally, a sport that Philadelphia has more championships in than Pittsburgh (don't start with the NBA nonsense either).
Obviously this is fantastic news and I for one can't wait to see the Soul take care of business on the boob tube.
