Radio Partner set for the Soul

The Philadelphia Soul announced today that all of the Soul's 2012 games will be aired exclusively on WPEN 950AM, ESPN Radio.  ESPN Radio is part of Greater Media Radio Stations.  Matt Martucci of 97.5 The Fanatic and anchor and three-year announcer for Saint Josephs Sports Network, will be the new voice of the Soul.

Martucci graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish Language/Culture as a double major in 2006. He's currently the voice of Saint Joseph University Men's Basketball on the Saint Joseph's Sports Network, a position he's held since 2009.

Along with all the game broadcasts, the Coaches Show will also broadcast live from Totaro's Restaurant in Conshohoken, PA every Wednesday night from 8-9 p.m.  Joe Krause, Vinnie “The Crumb”, Jason Ashworth, and Soul Head Coach Doug Plank will host the show.

Very exciting news for all you out-of-town Soul fans clamoring for some good old fashioned radio broadcasting rather than internet streaming. It just provides another outlet for fans to fall in love with the Soul and the game of arena football.

The Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet will be airing a weekly half-hour TV show entitled "Walk the Plank" every Wednesday night. Lou Tilley and head coach Doug Plank host the program highlighted with player interviews from some of your favorite Soul players.

It airs on the Comcast Network at 7 p.m. and at 11 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet every Wednesday. Today's show, if you caught it, featured QB Dan Raudabaugh and LB Dusty Bear and you could really sense how amped up each were for the upcoming season.

So now you have no excuse not to be caught up with the Soul's daily activities with all these outlets readily available.
