Training Camps

If you weren't already aware, the Chicago Rush were the first team to report to training camp this past Tuesday. The Milwaukee Mustangs, Pittsburgh Power and San Jose SaberCats report today as the second group of teams doing so. Here's the dates for when the rest of the AFL will report to training camp as well:

  • Friday, February 17th: (5 teams) Kansas City Brigade, Orlando Predators, Spokane Shock, Tampa Bay Storm  and Utah Blaze.
  • Saturday, February 18th: (4 teams) Arizona Rattlers, Georgia Force, Iowa Barnstormers and San Antonio Talons.
  • Sunday, February 19th: (1 team) Cleveland Gladiators.
  • Wednesday, February 22nd: (1 team) Jacksonville Sharks.
  • Friday, February 24th: (2 teams) New Orleans VooDoo and Philadelphia Soul.
Now you have all the dates for the 17 teams and you'll notice that two eastern division foes have already reported making the Soul the last team not just within the division, but in the entire AFL to report. With all the new faces and high expectations you'd think that the Soul would be able to report sooner, but regardless they'll have to get the job done despite this.
